Purple Marine - Walsall
From M6 Junction 10
Take A454 (Wolverhampton Road) signposted to Walsall for 1.5 miles, at second set of traffic lights bear left into Blue Lane West, leaving Fire Station on your left, straight through next set of traffic lights into Court Way, at T junction turn left into Stafford Street. After 250 metres, turn right before "Rock Steady Eddies" into Johns Street. After 150 metres, turn left into Marlow Street. Purple Marine is on the right.
From M6 Junction 7
Take Birmingham Road signposted to Walsall for 3 miles until you reach a roundabout with the Boundary Hotel, turn right onto Broadway North, follow road until you reach a large roundabout with the Arboretum on the right, take 3rd exit of roundabout into Littleton Street East, over traffic lights and get into right hand lane, turn right at T junction into Stafford Street. After 250 metres, turn right before "Rock Steady Eddies" into Johns Street. After 150 metres, turn left into Marlow Street. Purple Marine is on the right.
Purple Marine - Rutland Sailing Club, Oakham
From the A1
Head west on the A606 signposted Oakham/Melton Mowbray. Continue for about 4 miles until you come to a left hand sign directing you to the South Shore, there is also a brown tourist information sign for Rutland Sailing Club. Head into the village of Edith Weston. At the mini roundabout take the second turning heading towards Manton. About 1/4 of a mile further down is a turning to your right - Weston Road, head down the road past the primary school and you will come to a triangle in the road, take the left fork and Rutland Sailing Club is about 300yards down on your right. On entering the gates press the buzzer and ask for the chandlery.
From the A47
At the Uppingham roundabout head North on the A6003 for about 4 miles through the village of Preston. When you go up the large hill get into the right hand lane and at the top of the hill and turn right. Take extreme caution at this turing as cars coming up the hill cannot see you! Head into the village of Manton. At the mini roundabout take the first exit and head towards Edith Weston. Continue along this road for about 2 1/2 miles, upon entering the village the Rutland Sailing Club turning is the third on your left - Weston Road, head down the road past the primary school and you will come to a triangle in the road, take the left fork and Rutland Sailing Club is about 300yards down on your right. On entering the gates press the buzzer and ask for the chandlery.
