Windex Dinghy Wind IndicatorThe Windex Dinghy wind direction indicator is a precision instrument which can indicate a change in apparent wind angle of as little as 1°.
Windex consists of a moving vane and two fixed reference tabs, and the suspension consists of a sapphire bearing rotating on a stainless steel pin.
The Windex responds quickly and accurately at wind speeds as low as 0.1 metre/second (0.2 knots).
Light reflecting material is fitted to both the front and rear end of the wind vane, plus both the two reference tabs for good visibility during night sailing.This model is supplied with a stainless steel, quick release mounting bracket for easy removal at the end of each sail. Also features plain tabs.
